Behavior Management

Corporal punishment is never used at our school. If a child repeatedly disturbs others, does not obey the teacher disrupts the good functioning of the program, he/she will be taken and talked to individually and privately. The child will then be given a choice of activities that he can do to keep him/her motivated and out of disruptive behavior.

  • No child is ever subjected to cruel and severe punishment, humiliation or verbal abuse.
  • No child is denied food as a form of punishment.
  • No child is ever punished for soiling, wetting or not using the bathroom.
  • Where appropriate and feasible, children shall participate in the establishment of such rules, policies and procedures.
